![]() It's hard to move through 5~7 stops, manually, fast enough to not allow the scene to change enough to make it so different that a tonemap becomes a problem without having to heavily process the photos to make them blend in the first place. This is true, but not always possible and is dictated by content.ĭo a 7 frame shot at 1 stop intervals of a scene with the sky, plants, sky, clouds, etc, and when you try to blend them together with the time between each of the 7 frames allowing movement, you end up with a mess of ghosting, or worse, clouds completely in a new spot by the time you get to your last frame. The question is how much automation do you need? Don't let the firmware restrict you. ![]() ![]() Any camera on which you can adjust shutter speed and ISO allows you to bracket as many shots as you want.
